Matters Arising from the Minutes of the Last Meeting.

 * National Trust volunteers have cleared and weeded the area behind the Tafarn, also flower beds in the pub garden.

* Open Forum - there was a good turnout for the evening meeting and the feedback has been very positive. The efforts made by the Shop, Tafarn and Cymdeithas are much appreciated by the wider community and should be encouraged to continue. It was noted that on Tuesday 11th May a Business Group made up of the Directors along with Philip, Colin and Dan Jolley of the Welsh CoOperative Society will meet to secure the proper running of the Company and to discuss its future direction based on matters arising from the Forum, in particular the development of a Business Plan and our relationship to the National Trust within it.

* Book Club - inaugural meeting was well attended and after lively discussion two books were chosen to be discussed at the next meeting on Thursday 27th May. The Big Sleep - Raymond Chandler and The Death Defying Pepper Roux - Geraldine McCaughrean.

* Quiz night - Thanks to Alan for being Question Master.

* Boat Race - very well supported and enjoyed by all. 209 boats were sold. Raffle made £109. We will ask the Air Ambulance if they would like to attend the Cwmdu Fete to accept a donation of £300. A big thank you to all the helpers. Thanks to Judy and Catrin for doing BBQ.

* Raffle for Menter Bro Dinefwr raised £70.
