Winter program: one session each Wednesday 6 p.m – 7.15 pm
Sessions will take place in the Cwmdu Vestry or “Blue Room” in Cwmdu Inn
We will be learning and using the Shibashi Form of 18 moves which is an easy to learn form, with warm up to begin and a short relaxation in the middle.
It is good for balance, muscles, calmness, sleep, immune and cardiovascular systems.
Please wear soft comfortable shoes and clothing.
These sessions and exercises can also be done sitting down
Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese system of postures, exercises, breathing techniques and meditations. Qigong Tai Chi, Shibashi, is a gentle form of exercise that is good for balance, muscles, calmnes, sleep, immune and cardiovascular systems. Shibashi is a Qigong practice involving learning 18 moves put together in a flowing mindful way using breath.
