To be officially opened at 1pm by S4C’s Heledd Cynwal, the fete this year has Owen Meirion and his Quack Pack as the main attraction. There’ll be all the usual stalls and demonstrations, plus the fun dog racing, children’s races and 5-a-side football. The vintage display of tractors, card and bikes will be there to wander round and you can try to find your ancestors in the Talley History Society archive of photographs. Entrance to the fete is £3 which includes a raffle number. The photo competition is clouds – interpret it how you like! Pictures can be up to A4 size and cost just 50p to enter, so if the rain doesn’t let up, dig out your archives and see what you’ve got already. Get them to the big tent on the field by 2pm for judging at 2.30pm. In the evening there’ll be a Twmpath in the big tent with music and caller provided by the fabulous Bethlehem Village Band. There’ll be a barbecue and beer tent on the field, so come and dance the night away! Click here for details of the Cwmdu Village Fete 2020
