David, assisted by Josh, manages the Cwmdu Inn bar and restaurant and provide a warm welcome to the pub for all our customers.
Our draught beer is mainly supplied from the Llandeilo based Evan Evans brewery with it’s range of award winning ales. We also regularly have guest ales from other local breweries on as well as a great selection of ciders and bottled beers.
Whilst we aim always to offer beers, cider and other drinks produced locally or in Wales we do endeavour to ensure that other tastes are met with drinks such as Guiness, Newcastle Brown, Speckled Hen and Carlsberg to name a few. We also stock a good range of soft drinks and non or low alcohol beers / larger.
In the bar and restaurant there is free Wi-Fi available and upstairs there is a lounge / library with T.V. where you can watch major events, especially Rugby and Football! The room can also be used by to watch T.V., read or access the internet.

Please could you tell me if you serve lunch everyday,
Hi, Thank you for you enquiry. We have not been serving lunch to-date. On the 26th Jan we will be restarting a trial of the Sunday Lunch.
The bar is open from Wednesday to Saturday night but we only regularly serve food on Saturday nights. I hope that this helps.
Do you have sky sports for the football on Sunday afternoon. ? 14/04/2019
Thanks for the enquiry but no we don’t have Sky Sports. We are able to show sports such as football and recently the Rugby but only on “Freeview” channels such as BBC, ITV and S4C
We will still call In on Sunday

On behalf of Pontarddulais Walking Club I would like to thank Veronica,Judy and Peter for a warm welcome to the Cwmdu Inn last Sunday
You are very welcome. We look forward to seeing you and your group at some time next year, better weather and longer walks – of which there are plenty around here.
Best wishes to you all
Hi are dogs allowed in the pub please?
Yes – with a but…..if food is being served in the public bar on a Saturday night (and this is only when it’s really busy) we ask that dogs are not brought into the bar then as it’s so small.
