Day for the family and children

 

This year we’ll be joined on the field by a Medieval Reenactment camp. An advance guard camp of King Henry VII (in 1503) as he plans a royal procession through South Wales to his family’s home in Pembroke in recognition of the support of the populace during the campaigns in the wars of the roses.

 

The camp will include colourful medieval tents and a busy cooking area. There will be two ‘training’ sessions for young volunteers for the king’s retinue – sign up on the day for the planned activities. Lots of armour and weaponry for you to look at and why not have a go at the medieval garden game of ‘kubb’.
